Cyclist wins £525,000 over accident

A cyclist has received £525,000 in compensation after being hit by a car. The cyclist was forced to stop work as a result of the accident. She suffered multiple fractures. She took civil action after the police decided not to prosecute the driver. The case was contested and liability was eventually admitted. The cyclist, a Canadian national, was a specialist technologist with an aviation firm.
