Latest aviation insurance statistics from Aon

Aon has reported that net hull premiums (lead terms) in 2006 are down by around 8.6% when compared to 2005, while 2006 net liability premiums (lead terms) are down by around 7.4% when compared to 2005 (premiums are inclusive of any additional AV52 premium charges). Average fleet values in 2006 show an increase of around 4.9% when compared to 2005. The figures are based on around 170 renewals up to the end of August 2006.
