£70mn administration fees for Turner and Newall fund
The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that “accountants and lawyers claimed a staggering £70mn in fees to administer a compensation
scheme which left cancer victims with just 20% of the money they should have received.” The paper was referring to the Turner
and Newall asbestos trust fund which was recently approved by victims.
