Turner & Newall victims vote for £33mn Trust Fund

Victims of asbestos related diseases are to receive some compensation more than five years after the Turner & Newall group of companies went into administration. The Administrators, Kroll, have put together proposals for a £33mn Trust Fund to pay out future claims. Creditors, including asbestos sufferers and their families, have voted to accept a compensation offer amounting to 20p in the pound.
