Bike crash boys wins £12,500 from store

A boy who was seriously injured when the brakes and steering failed on his bike has been awarded compensation of £12,500 by the store which sold the bike. The equipment failure caused the boy to hit a tree on his bike, leaving him with serious injuries including a ruptured spleen, which had to be removed and a broken rib.
