Policeman wins bullying compensation

A policeman has won £18,000 after suing his employers for psychiatric injury and depression caused by bullying. He claimed he was bullied by senior officers, and while the judge ruled that colleagues did not deliberately cause psychiatric injury to the man, he was nevertheless a victim of negligence. It was reported that the award could be significantly increased after an assessment.
