Farmers claim for animals injured by low flying jets

Hundreds of farmers are losing out on compensation for animals injured as a result of low flying fighter jets, according to new research. The Farmers’ Union of Wales (FUW) said it has discovered that the number of farmers who successfully claim compensation from the Ministry of Defence after their cattle have aborted is a fraction of the true figure.
