Orkney woman sues council over abuse allegations

A council is being sued for £100,000 by one of the children involved in the Orkney abuse allegations. It was reported that the woman, now 24, was alleging that her childhood was ruined when she was put in care for six years. Her lawyer said that compensation would have to reflect the damage to her psychological health and loss of her childhood.
