Offer of reinstatement
The 39 former servicemen and women currently suing the Ministry of Defence, having been sacked because they were gay, are
to be offered reinstatement in their former jobs following the formal lifting of the ban on their armed forces service. This
is likely to be extended to around the same number about to start legal action.
