Sleipner

The loss of the Norwegian high-speed catamaran ferry Sleipner, with (at the time of writing) around 18 deaths from among the very low passenger list of 88, has led to criticisms of security measures and rescue procedures and reopens the maritime debate of the design safety of high-speed ferries.
