ABC News to pay US$2 only
A damages award of US$5.5mn against ABC News was reduced to a mere US$2 by the US Court of Appeals. The original damages were
a jury award in respect of a news report that Food Lion supermarket chain sold unsanitary food, after deciding that ABC had
engaged in fraud.
