NHS slowness puts patients at risk

The House of Commons Health Select Committee identifies the slowness of the National Health Service (NHS) in dealing with complaints as putting patients at risk of continued treatment by incompetent doctors. They called for more openness, ie full explanation to the parents of the reasons for the death of a child (interestingly, this was before the discovery of the ‘stored organs’ situation).
