SNP calls for ‘no fault’ scheme for clinical negligence

The Scottish National Party (SNP) has called for a ‘no fault’ compensation scheme in cases of clinical negligence. SNP leaders claimed the present system for compensating victims of medical errors was long, costly and needlessly acrimonious.
