£136,000 for smashed elbow

A worker who tripped and injured his elbow has won £136,000 in damages. The man, a welder, tripped over a piece of tubing whilst carrying a large sheet of steel, and his elbow was smashed in the fall. He sued his employers claiming that he was unable to get another job as a welder. His employer admitted breaching workplace safety regulations.
