Nanny sues camera manufacturer over arrest

The manufacturer of a video camera is being sued in the US by a nanny who was filmed allegedly shaking a five month old baby. As a result of the footage, which was shown on US television, she was arrested by police and charged with shaking the child. She stayed in prison for more than two years before prosecutors decided that the videotape was unreliable as it was time-lapsed. The child had no injuries and the nanny insisted she had just been playing with the baby. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
