Temporary workers have higher risk of occupational injury

A study looking at associations between temporary employment and occupational injury has concluded that “lower job experience and knowledge of workplace hazards, measured by length of employment, is a possible mechanism to explain the consistent association between temporary workers and occupational injury. Findings confirm that temporary workers have a significantly higher risk of having fatal and non-fatal occupational injuries than permanent workers.”
