Hand arm vibration syndrome and experts

A claimant alleged he suffered from hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) and filed with the court medical reports supporting his allegations. However, when he came to give evidence, he was obliged to describe the symptoms from which he was allegedly suffering and which he had already described to his medical experts. The diagnosis of his condition was dependent upon his accurately describing his symptoms to the medical experts in the case, as this formed the basis for their findings.
