Injury to feelings award not excessive

A manager of a hairdressing salon who took part in bullying and fostered and encouraged a discriminatory atmosphere at work by behaviour and example against an employee who was pregnant was jointly and severally liable together with the employer company for damages. In those circumstances an award of £25,000 for injury to feelings was not excessive.
