Police motorcyclist wins collision case

A police motorcyclist has received £30,000 in an out of court settlement over a collision with a car. The policeman was an outrider for the Queen during a Golden Jubilee visit. He was hit when the 70-year-old car driver turned into his path. The policeman suffered pain in his back and claimed to have post traumatic stress disorder. The driver denied liability and told the media that the motorcyclist had driven into him, and that his insurance company “could have put up more of a fight.”
