Former footballer wins £400,000 in damages
A former footballer has been awarded £400,000 in damages after his career was ended by a dangerous tackle. Former Scunthorpe
and Bolton midfielder Peter Morrison suffered multiple breaks in his leg, and he has not played professional football since.
The tackler was sent off and the injury was so bad that the game between Scunthorpe and Grimsby had to be abandoned.
