£100,000 for Porton Down veteran

The Ministry of Defence has paid £100,000 to the family of a man who died as a result of being treated as a human guinea pig at the Porton Down laboratories. According to the man’s law firm, Leigh Day & Co, “the payment bodes well for the rest of the 500 Porton Down veterans represented by Leigh Day & Co and Kent firm Thompson Snell Passmore”. Leigh Day & Co said it was finalising the work on commencing a claim for all the other test veterans.
