Former soldier to pay back nearly half of damages
A former soldier has been forced to pay back nearly half of her damages awarded when her career was brought to an end by a
broken ankle. The woman, who was only eight weeks into her basic training, won nearly £258,000 on the grounds that she would
have served 22 years in the Army.
