Dyslexic man loses education case
A dyslexic man who sued two local authorities for nearly £500,000 has lost his case as it was brought outside the legal time
limit. The man claimed he had been incorrectly placed in two different special schools. He had no other disability and was
said to be of above average intelligence but was nonetheless removed from mainstream schooling at the age of eight because
of his literacy problems. His dyslexia was never diagnosed, and he remains largely illiterate.
