Dyslexic man loses education case

A dyslexic man who sued two local authorities for nearly £500,000 has lost his case as it was brought outside the legal time limit. The man claimed he had been incorrectly placed in two different special schools. He had no other disability and was said to be of above average intelligence but was nonetheless removed from mainstream schooling at the age of eight because of his literacy problems. His dyslexia was never diagnosed, and he remains largely illiterate.
