Babies vulnerable to agricultural pesticides

Newborn infants are as much as 65 to 164 times more vulnerable than adults to a pair of common agricultural pesticides, according a study published by researchers at the University of California. That means current US government safeguards may not provide adequate protection for young children, according to medical experts from the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Pesticide Action Network of North America (PANNA).
