Claim over police disclosure fails

A mother has lost her claim for compensation against the police after she was sacked from her job as a school lunchtime supervisor. She claimed that it was the result of the police disclosing to the school that her son was on the child protection register. She claimed that her human rights had been violated by the police. But the judge said that the police had merely complied with the law and had not offered any opinion about her suitability for the job.
