Price-fixing companies can be sued

The Times has reported that a landmark European court case will make it easier for consumers to sue companies guilty of illegal price-fixing. According to the Times, an advocate-general to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) found that Italian policyholders who paid 20% higher premiums as a result of price-fixing by insurers had a legal right to sue for damages.
