Healthcare professionals must do more to reduce risks

Healthcare managers and professionals are being urged to take more aggressive steps to manage the increasing costs of healthcare risk. Robert Wendin, the European Healthcare Practice leader at Marsh, said that while other industries such as aviation and energy have reduced accidents and malpractice claims over the past decade, the number of incidents and claims in the UK healthcare sector has continued to soar.
