UK P&I Club in “very satisfactory” renewal

The UK P&I Club is reported to have completed a “very satisfactory renewal.” A spokesman told Insurance Day: “The club’s objective was to establish premium levels consistent with the anticipated volume and value of future claims and capable of ensuring adequate capital levels to support the business. Not only has it achieved its target level of increased premium, but approximately 97% of entries were renewed with the club.”
