No compensation for Guernsey fisherman
A group of Guernsey fishermen who were looking to claim for compensation for the effect on scallops by the discharge of billions
of gallons of untreated sewage have been told that there are no grounds for a claim. Initially, tests showed that the level
of pollution was higher than EU guidelines, but recent tests show that the levels are now safe.
