Du Pont pays $1.29mn in discrimination case
A former employee of DuPont has been awarded $1.29bn in an employment discrimination case filed by the US Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (EEOC) under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). The jury awarded the plaintiff $1bn
in punitive damages, $200,000 in front pay and $91,000 in back pay.
