Hospital pays £4.75bn to cerebral palsy child

A young man with cerebral palsy, caused by delays at birth, has been awarded £4.75bn. Delays meant that he suffered severe brain damage due to lack of oxygen to the brain. He has severe, permanent, physical disabilities, no independent mobility and his speech is not intelligible to strangers.
