£400,000 discrimination award upheld at appeal
The employment appeals tribunal has upheld a decision in which a prison officer with depression was awarded £400,000 after
being discriminated against and unfairly dismissed. The Prison Service had appealed for the amount of the award, believed
to be the highest in a disability discrimination case, to be cut.
