Disabled man wins damages over access

A disabled man, supported by the Disability Rights Commission (DRC), has won £1,097 damages after suing a train operating company. The appeal court judge ruled that the train operator acted unlawfully by not paying the cost of the man’s cab fare to drive him to the other side of the station.
