Asbestos widow wins settlement
The widow of a man who died after working with asbestos has been awarded damages in an out of court settlement. The man was
diagnosed with mesothelioma and died shortly after. He had worked for many years near pipes lagged with asbestos. The settlement
was made by EDF Energy, the successor to his employer Eastern Electricity Board.
