Woman sues over MRSA

A woman is asking for £30,000 in compensation from a hospital after she contracted the MRSA superbug. The 67-year old woman said it was caused by poor hygiene. She had been admitted to hospital for routine heart surgery, but was forced to undergo a second operation to reopen the chest wound and deal with the infection. She alleges that she suffers from depression and severe migraines. Her lawyer told the media that if they won the case, he would proceed with over 80 other claims.
