Diners sign disclaimer for rare burgers

A restaurant in London has been making diners sign a disclaimer if they ordered their burgers to be cooked rare or medium-rare. The disclaimer, which also had to be signed by the chef on duty, waived the restaurant’s liability for food-poisoning. The owners of the Marriott restaurant stopped managers from using the form, but still warned diners that those who choose to have their burgers cooked rare or medium rare do so at their own risk.
