Step posed substantial risk of tripping
An instructional officer at a prison suffered injury when she walked up a ramp and tripped over an unmarked two inch step
into a Portacabin. A sign saying ‘please mind the step’ had been in place since 2000 but she alleged that the notice was not
in place in 2002 when the accident occurred.
