Disabled employee in settlement over sacking

A college has agreed to pay £15,000 compensation and to issue an apology to a disabled member of staff just hours before a disability discrimination case was due to be heard by an employment tribunal. The woman suffered from ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and was the part-time Disability Co-ordinator at the college.
