Fire brigade sues government over asbestos
A fire brigade is suing the government for not warning firefighters about the dangers of asbestos. A member of the Merseyside
Fire Service died in 2002 from an asbestos-related illness. While the service has admitted liability for his death, it says
that the government is equally to blame for not issuing guidelines early enough.
