Misdiagnosis of cancer lump
A family is considering legal action against an NHS Trust over the misdiagnosis of cancer. A 27 year old woman was diagnosed
with a cyst by her GP after she found a lump in her breast in August 2003. It was not until December 2003 that the lump was
diagnosed as cancer, and the woman died in August 2004.
