Unions fail in equality case

The courts have ruled that the Government’s 2003 Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations were not flawed and were not incompatible with European law. Unions, including Amicus, the RMT and Unison, failed in the legal case to prevent new equality regulations from coming into force.
