Liability for both physical and psychiatric injuries

In a case involving an accident which the pursuer had already warned his employers about, which caused him physical injury resulting in the development of a skin condition and causing a prolonged absence from work leading to a depressive mental illness, the employers whose breach of a duty of care had caused the accident were liable in damages for the mental illness even though only the physical injury could have been foreseen.
