Low-level magnetic fields study urges caution

Research in the US has found that exposure to low-level magnetic fields could be harmful. The study in “Environmental Health Perspectives”, a journal of the US National Institute of Environmental Sciences, reported that rats which were exposed to a weak magnetic field developed damage to the DNA in their brain cells. The damage increased according to the length of time of exposure.
