Solicitors’ scope of duty of care

The scope of the duty of care owed by a solicitor to his client depended on the instructions he received and the circumstances of the case. The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council allowed an appeal from a solicitor in a case involving a claim that the solicitor was liable in negligence to his client.
