TV company makes reality payment

Sky Television has made payments to six men who were part of a reality TV show. The men had threatened legal action but accepted undisclosed payments. The men had been part of the show “There's Something About Miriam” in which the men attempted to woo Miriam in order to win a prize, without realising that Miriam was a (very convincing) preoperation transsexual. The men were seen being intimate with Mir iam in the programme. They were not told that she was a transsexual until filming had ended. Sky apologised to the men for any upset caused.
