No test for maternal diabetes
A health authority is being sued for £2.75mn in compensation by a girl who suffered severe brain damage at birth. The girl,
now 14, requires 24-hour care. The mother claims that she showed signs of maternal diabetes and the hospital should have tested
her for it.
