Caesarean delay award

A boy who was left with brain damage at birth has been awarded a lump sum of £900,000 and a further £90,000-a-year for the rest of his life. The boy, now 19, suffered brain damage after a 20-minute delay in confirming that he needed to be delivered by Caesarean section. He is now virtually unable to move and lives with his foster parents.
