United sues AIG over BI loss

US air carrier United Airlines, the US airline, is suing a unit of AIG’ for $25mn to cover business interruption claims connected to the September 11 terrorist attacks. The airline says it is entitled to claim up to $25mn on a terrorism and sabotage policy that it bought from AGI unit Insurance Company of the state of Pennsylvania. United filed for bankruptcy protection last year.
