Aircrew not at risk from cosmic radiation

A study of 44,000 airline crew from eight European countries has found that cancer deaths among them are no higher than in the rest of the population. The study, revealed in New Scientist magazine, found a twofold increase in skin cancer deaths in men, but it suggested this was to do with aircrew taking more holidays and being in the sun for longer than others.
