Tricolor being raised in parts

The salvage of the Tricolor, the freight ship which sank in the English Channel and has proved a danger to shipping, has begun successfully with one section already raised. The ship will be raised in nine sections, using special cutting cable and two large floating cranes. The salvage operation is expected to cost around £25mn. It is expected to be finished some time in September.
